Music, Movement & Language
Small-group classes for children ages 3–5. Music, movement, and Spanish through play — in Washington Heights, Inwood, and Riverdale. Enrollment isn't open yet; join the interest list to hear about dates, locations, and prices first.
My Values & Mission
My teaching approach is rooted in a deep respect for diversity and the power of music to enrich and transform lives. That's why my mission is to provide high-quality lessons designed to be primarily fun, as well as engaging and challenging, providing each student with a comprehensive music education that will serve them well for a lifetime. Multiple scientific studies highlight the profound impact of music education on children's cognitive and emotional development. From enhancing IQ and reading skills to fostering a deeper emotional understanding, music lessons not only cultivate musical talents but also contribute to personal growth.
Claudia Govantes & Yoan Yabor

Claudia brings decades of performance and classroom leadership in voice, piano, and early childhood. Yoan is a composer and producer with roots at Havana's Amadeo Roldán Conservatory—he teaches guitar, bass, and music production.

I started working with Claudia last year to learn how to use my voice again. What I admire about her teaching style is that the importance of technique and vocabulary is apparent as well as the importance of bringing real emotion and art to the craft.
